… Ease direct connectivity between Lagos and Dar es Salam
As more African airlines yearn to connect to one of Africa’s biggest aviation market, the federal government has granted Tanzanian Airlines an operating permit to the Nigerian market. With this development, the Airline will commence direct flights between Tanzania and Nigeria and this will ease connectivity and boost business, investment and tourism, thereby strengthening existing ties between our two countries

This follows the granting of a Foreign Carrier Operating Permit to Air Tanzania by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCCA) for scheduled flights between Dar es Salaam and Lagos. The Airline said this move which aims to ease connectivity and boost business, investment and tourism, thereby strengthening existing ties between our two countries.
As at the last count, Nigeria is one of the countries that host most African foreign airlines than any other with over a third of the continents 35 airlines having direct access to the Nigerian aviation market.
