Air Peace Announces Resumption of Direct Flights to Guangzhou-China and Upcoming Lagos – London Route

Nigeria’s leading airline, Air Peace, has revealed plans to resume its direct flight to Guangzhou, China, and launch a new Lagos – London flight. The airline’s spokesperson, Stanley Olisa, shared this information in a press statement made available to LEADERSHIP on Friday.

According to the statement, the direct flight to Guangzhou-China is scheduled to resume on Thursday, December 28, 2023. Additionally, Air Peace introduced a new connection, allowing passengers to fly Accra-China-Accra.

Olisa emphasized that these developments align with Air Peace’s commitment to providing extensive connectivity across cities and continents, fostering socio-economic relations. The airline initially began direct flights to China in 2022, experiencing high passenger demand on its inaugural flight. Subsequently, Air Peace expanded its international reach in 2023, launching three other routes to Mumbai, Tel Aviv, and Jeddah, along with a historic flight to the Caribbean nation, Antigua and Barbuda, in August.

The statement also highlighted Air Peace’s preparations to initiate scheduled flights to London in the near future, marking another milestone in the airline’s expansion strategy.

Air Peace has solidified its position in Nigeria’s aviation industry, boasting a network of 21 domestic routes, 8 regional destinations, and 6 international destinations. The airline operates a modern fleet comprising over 30 aircraft, including five brand new Embraer 195-E2s, with a recently announced order for five brand new Embraer 175s.
