Helicopter Crash in Oba Akran, Lagos State Causes Panic and Flames

On Tuesday afternoon, residents in Oba Akran, Ikeja area of Lagos State experienced severe panic as an unidentified helicopter crashed into a building, erupting into flames. The incident occurred near AP Filling Station and United Bank For Africa, Oba Akran, at approximately 3:30 pm.

Eyewitnesses reported the terrifying crash, and two people were rescued from the wreckage, according to the South West coordinator of the emergency response agency, Ibrahim Farinloye. The control tower indicated that two individuals were onboard the ill-fated helicopter.

Authorities swiftly responded to the scene, as the Lagos Fire and Rescue Service personnel arrived to conduct emergency operations and contain the situation. Further details are yet to be released, and the investigation is ongoing.
