Despite the overall gains, trading volumes and values indicated a cautious sentiment. The volume of shares traded surged by 41.30% to 400.91 million, up from 283.72 million, while the value of trades increased significantly by N7.42 billion, reaching N15.71 billion compared to N8.29 billion in the previous session.
The number of deals also saw a rise, totaling 9,211, up from 7,966, signaling increased market activity.
