Portable Demands N1 Billion to Fight VeryDarkMan, Rejects N100 Million Offer

Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has turned down a N100 million offer to engage in a physical altercation with social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), insisting that only a N1 billion payout would make him consider such a match.

The “Zazuu Zeh” crooner made the declaration amidst an escalating feud with VDM, which began after Portable publicly criticised the influencer’s comments about President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Their online rivalry has since spiraled into a barrage of insults and heated exchanges across multiple social media platforms, drawing widespread attention from fans and critics alike.

Speaking in a recent video, Portable dismissed the N100 million offer as an insult to his status and claimed he regularly receives such sums from his supporters.

“That N100 million, my fans give it to me,” he said. “N100 million is too small for me to fight VDM. Let them give me one billion, and I will fight him and beat him.”

He further ridiculed those calling for the fight, suggesting that they fear VDM themselves.

“If anybody can drop N1 billion, I will fight him. Someone you can’t hold, you are now asking me to fight and beat him. You are scared of him; you can’t jail him,” Portable added.

The standoff between both figures has sparked intense debate online, raising questions about the influence of celebrity feuds on youth culture and public discourse in Nigeria.
