In line with President Bola Tinubu’s Presidential Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Initiative (Pi-CNG), Tetracore Energy has entered a strategic partnership with Dangote Cement Plc, a subsidiary of the Dangote Group, to supply 400,000 standard cubic meters (SCM) of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) daily.
This collaboration is aimed at powering Dangote Cement’s extensive logistics fleet and meeting the increasing demand for auto CNG users across Nigeria.
To ensure uninterrupted supply, Tetracore will deploy cutting-edge mobile refilling units and establish mother stations nationwide. This infrastructure will guarantee accessibility and reliability for logistics operations, supporting Nigeria’s transition to cleaner energy sources.
Speaking on the development, Dayo Williams, Tetracore’s program executive, emphasized their commitment to sustainable energy:
“This collaboration underscores Tetracore’s dedication to advancing sustainable energy solutions. By partnering with Dangote Cement, we support one of Nigeria’s largest logistics operations and drive the adoption of CNG as a cleaner, more efficient fuel option.”
The move aligns with Dangote Cement’s sustainability goals, including reducing carbon emissions and optimizing operations, as part of the company’s broader commitment to environmental responsibility.
This partnership represents a significant step toward cleaner energy adoption, reinforcing Nigeria’s position in the global transition to sustainable energy.
