UBA to Educate SMEs on 2024 Withholding Tax Regulations

United Bank for Africa (UBA) will host a Knowledge Series webinar on January 30, 2025, to educate small and medium business owners on the new 2024 withholding tax regulations. The session, themed “2024 Withholding Tax Regulations, Specific Emphasis on How They Affect SMEs,” aims to help businesses navigate the updated tax policies.

The webinar will feature UBA’s Head of SME Banking, Babatunde Ajayi, along with financial analysts from Anderson Consulting, Adeyemi Adediran and Vincent Okoukoni. They will provide expert insights on the tax regime, its implications for businesses, and strategies for compliance and growth.

UBA’s Group Head of Retail and Digital Banking, Shamsideen Fashola, highlighted the importance of the webinar, stating that it will equip SMEs with valuable knowledge to make informed financial decisions. He emphasized that understanding the new tax framework is crucial for business sustainability and economic growth.
