UK-Based Nigerian Doctor Loses Licences Over Allegations of Offering Free Botox Injections in Exchange for Sex

In a startling turn of events, Dr. Oluwafemi Tijion Esho, a prominent United Kingdom-based Nigerian doctor, has been stripped of his medical licenses after being found guilty of engaging in inappropriate conduct involving the exchange of free Botox injections for sexual favors, as reported by Telegraph.

Dr. Esho, widely recognized for his expertise in cosmetic surgery and his appearances on popular television programs such as ITV’s This Morning, BBC’s Morning Live, and E4’s Body Fixers, faced a Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service on Monday to address the allegations.

During the tribunal, Dr. Esho admitted to an improper emotional relationship with a woman referred to as Patient A, with whom he exchanged “inappropriate” sexual messages on Instagram. However, he denied any physical sexual contact with Patient A, who reportedly provided sex services via OnlyFans and webcams.

Despite his denial, the tribunal ruled that Dr. Esho did engage in sexual intercourse with Patient A at his clinic in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2021 and administered Botox injections free of charge. Additionally, the tribunal found instances where Dr. Esho made inappropriate comments about Patient A’s physical appearance and allowed her to masturbate him.

As a result of his misconduct, the tribunal concluded that Dr. Esho’s fitness to practice was impaired, leading to the removal of his name from the medical register. The specific reasons for this sanction will be disclosed next week.

Among the damning evidence presented during the tribunal were several “inappropriate” Instagram messages exchanged between Dr. Esho and Patient A, spanning from July 2019 to February 2022. These messages included suggestive comments and expressions of desire for physical intimacy.

While Botox injections are commonly used for cosmetic purposes to reduce wrinkles, Dr. Esho’s case highlights the ethical boundaries that must be upheld within the medical profession. The allegations against him have sparked outrage and raised concerns about patient safety and professional conduct.

As the fallout from this scandal continues to unfold, Dr. Esho’s reputation and career hang in the balance, serving as a cautionary tale about the consequences of breaching professional ethics in the medical field.
